SILICA  FUME

• The silica fume may be defined as very fine non-crystalline silicon
  dioxide  material and  is a by-product of the manufactured of silicon, ferrosilicon, from quartz and carbon in electric arc furnace. It is generally used inpropoltion of 5% to l0 % percent of the cement content of a mix.
• Silica fume also known as performance enhancer of binder compound.Some times it is known as Micro Silica.
